HISTORY

Ennis Steel Industries, Inc. has been established since 1980 as a structural and miscellaneous steel fabricator based in Ennis, Texas, with satellite plants in Fort Worth, Texas. This location, 35 miles south of Dallas, Texas, has been our home since incorporating over 35 years ago. We currently employ 160 hourly workers on two shifts, between our two locations, with an average production of 1500 tons per month. Work that has been detailed utilizing a cad system can be downloaded from a disc to our CNC machinery, which helps to increase productivity while decreasing shop errors.

We utilize the most current automated equipment available to the industry, including the following:

  • CNC Robotic Plasma Cutting Station
  • Cold Saw capable of providing a milled finish to any section currently rolled
  • CNC Controlled Drill Line and Conveyors
  • Beam Cambering Machine
  • CNC Controlled Angle Machine
  • CNC Controlled Plate Duplicator
  • 8 wheel shot blaster

Ennis Steel acquired an additional 57,800 square feet of production area located in Fort Worth, Texas.

Production is managed by Chadd Bentley, who has over 25 years of experience in the steel fabrication industry. To assure you of a quality product, Ennis Steel Industries, Inc. became an AISC Certified shop in 1999. We would rather lose a job than compromise quality for cost. Also, we use the best detailers in our area, which we feel directly relates to quality control.
